Ke . . . of Araphen (dedicated a statue of) her son, Niketes of Melite, to (the) Eileithyiai (5)when Sosibia daughter of Sosibios of Sounion was priestess.

[1] This is a dedication to Eileithyia, goddess of childbirth. From the fact that her (scil. father's) deme (Araphen) was different from her son's (Melite) we can infer that the dedicant, named in l. 1, was the child's mother rather than his father.
