[1] On ephebic dedications cf. IG II³ 4, 329 with notes. This inscription was dedicated by the ephebes of Akamantis (the tribe is implied by the demotics) before the year 307/6 BC, when the deme Hagnous was reassigned to the tribe Demetrias. It can probably be dated between 333/2 and 324/3 BC, like the other inscriptions in which lochagoi, ephebes who served as cadet captains, are mentioned (cf. IG II³ 4, 334, IG II³ 4, 337).
