[1] The stone appears to be lost. It is known from an 1878 report by the Greek archaeologist S.A. Koumanoudes (Athenaion 7, 1878, 92–93, no. 5), who described it as a round altar of Pentelic marble. The findspot suggests that it came from the sanctuary of Dionysos Eleuthereus in front of the Theatre of Dionysos.
