Meidias and Danais, having vowed it to Asklepios on behalf of their little children, on behalf of Hediste and Sosikles (5) and Olynpiodoros, (dedicated this).

[1] This rectangular pillar was dedicated in the Asklepieion on the south slope of the Acropolis. There is a rectangular hole on top with traces of lead in it for insertion of a votive. Meidias and Danais are husband and wife and dedicated the monument for the health of their daughter Hediste and their sons Sosikles and Olynpiodoros. Neither the dedicators nor their children are otherwise attested. On the Asklepieion and its inscriptions, see IG II³ 4, 665.
