[1] This is a relief plaque, which was dedicated in the Asklepieion on the south slope of the Acropolis. The fragmentary relief depicts three dancing nymphs in an archaising manner. For the association of the Asklepieion with the neighbouring spring of the nymphs, see L. Beschi, ASAA 80, 2002, 28. The priest might be Archippos (cf. IG II³ 1, 740) or Archestratos (cf. IG II³ 1, 898, ll. 81, 101). Either way, the tribal cycle of the priesthoods, in combination with stylistic dating of the relief, suggests that the inscription belongs to 325/4 or 315/4 BC (S.
