[1] This is part of a statue base, with a round cutting on top for a marble statue. The dedicator is not otherwise known. The inscription was sold to the Greek Archaeological Society by someone whose house was located south of the Theatre of Dionysos, which might indicate that it was originally dedicated in the nearby Asklepieion on the south slope of the Acropolis.
