[1] This inscription is on the broad upper portion of a rectangular pillar monument dedicated to Asklepios, which would have originally stood in the Asklepieion on the south slope of the Athenian Acropolis. The dedicator is not otherwise known. There are three cuttings on top for inserting votives. On the Asklepieion and its inscriptions, see IG II³ 4, 665.
