-os of Kollytos, to Asklepios, having vowed this on behalf of Polyeuktos, dedicated it.^[1]

[1] This statue base was dedicated by an unknown man of Kollytos in the Asklepieion on the south slope of the Acropolis, in the hope that Polyeuktos would recover from some injury or illness or in thanks for his recovery. The relationship between the dedicator and Polyeuktos is unknown. One of the letters of Polyeuktos' name was initially omitted and has been added above his name (Threatte, Grammar of Attic Inscriptions, I 346). There are remains of a cutting on top for a statue.
