[1] This dedication to Asklepios takes the form of a small aedicula with a relief scene, which depicts Asklepios at left seated on a rock holding a sceptre and a woman (presumably the dedicator, Pollis) at right, extending her right hand towards the god. The inscription appears on the epistyle above the relief and carved vertically on the pillars to either side of it. On the Asklepieion and its inscriptions, see IG II³ 4, 665.
