Council . . . Priene . . . [since we observed] [the goodwill which existed on their part] from the beginning [towards the People] (5)of the Athenians . . . and . . . goodwill . . . to praise also [the ambassadors of the Prienians for their justice] and [love of honour and to crown each] (10) of them [with a crown] . . . the People of the [Athenians] . . . Hekatombaion . . . [and they shall be permitted] to obtain [other benefits] (15) the People . . . People, [and the secretary shall inscribe this decree] on a stone stele [and stand it on the Acropolis, and for the] inscribing of the [stele the treasurer of the People shall give] (20) 30 drachmas from [the fund for expenditure on decrees] of the People, and to invite [the ambassadors of the Prienians to hospitality] in the city hall [tomorrow, and the director of works (architektona) shall also assign them] a seat at the Dionysia.
