[1] This small base seems to honour a basket-bearer (kanephoros) of the sanctuary of Asklepios on the south slope of the Acropolis (on the sanctuary, see IG II³ 4, 665; on the basket-bearer, see IG II³ 4, 770). None of the individuals are otherwise known. [2] On the temple attendant (zakoros), see IG II³ 4, 794. On the keyholder and fire-bearer (kleidouchos kai pyrphoros), see SEG 18.26 with notes.
