[1] This fragment of a herm was found in the sanctuary of Asklepios on the south slope of the Acropolis (on which, see IG II³ 4, 665, retained in IG II²). Dittenberger reconstructed it as a depiction of a high priest of the Imperial cult under an emperor Antoninus Pius (Dittenberger, IG III add. 697a), but the resulting text is problematic in various ways and should probably be reconsidered.
