[(This statue of) Tiberius Claudius Caesar] Augustus Germanicus, pontifex maximus, tribunician power, consul twice, proclaimed emperor three times (42 AD), [father of the fatherland] (was erected by) the Council of the Areopagos and the Council of the Six Hundred and the People, for their saviour and benefactor, with the work being managed by Tiberius Claudius Novius of Oion, herald of the Areopagos Council and competition-director (agōnothetou) and priest of Delian Apollo.[1]
