[1] This columnar grave marker (kioniskos) is located on the north side of Philomousou Etaireias Square in the Plaka, inside a restaurant. On kioniskoi, see AIUK 3 (Fitzwilliam), no. 7 with notes.

Textual note: IG II² restores ll. 1-2 as Πῶλ[λα] | Κοίν̣τ̣[η], "Polla Quinta," a non-standard Roman citizen name. Polla is a common cognomen, but it is odd to find it appearing in first position (i.e. as a nomen). Quinta, the feminine form of the praenomen Quintus, which would here be functioning non-standardly as a cognomen, is rare. Traill, PAA interprets both Quinta and Asklep- as cognomina of the deceased, the latter perhaps to be restored as Asklep[ias]; AIO interprets the latter as the personal name of the deceased's husband.
