Decree 2 In the archonship of Eupolemos (185/4), in the - prytany, of - (15) to which Stratonikos son of Stratonikos of Hamaxanteia was secretary. Decrees of the Council. On the - of -, the sixth of the prytany, Council in the Council chamber. Of the presiding committee Patr- son of - of - was putting to the vote and his fellow presiding committee members. Telephanes son of - of - (20) proposed: since the prytany of Leontis and those with permanent dining rights have praised and crowned the treasurer, whom they chose from themselves, Apollodoros . . . , and declare to the Council that he has performed all the proper sacrifices on behalf of the Council and the People and has also taken care of everything else (25) well and with love of honour (philotimōs), for good fortune, the Council shall decide to praise the treasurer, Apollodoros . . . . . . (30) . . . . . . of the Council . . . . . . and to crown each of them with a foliage crown; and the prytany secretary shall inscribe this decree on a stone stele and stand it in the [prytanikon]; and for the [inscribing (35) and the setting up?] the administrator shall defray the costs accrued.
