Citizenship decree
IG II3 1 1341 Date: Ca. 210-170 BC
          . . .    . . .  and crown him with a foliage
        crown for his love of honour (philotimias) towards the People of the
        Athenians; and he shall also be granted citizenship, having been
        scrutinised in the court in accordance with the law;
        (5) and the court presidents (thesmothetas), when they have filled the
        courts to five hundred and one jurors,
        shall introduce his scrutiny, and he shall be enrolled
        in the tribe and deme and phratry
        that he wishes; and the prytany secretary shall
        (10) inscribe this stele on a
        stone stele and stand it on the acropolis; and for
        the [inscribing and the setting up] of the stele
        the treasurer of the military fund shall defray the
        expense accrued.
