Gods. In the archonship of Euthykritos (189/8), in the eighth prytany, of Kekropis, for which Kephalos son of Kephalos of KydantidaiV was secretary. Decrees of the (5) People. On the nineteenth of Anthesterion, the thirty-first of the prytany. Assembly in the Piraeus. Of the presiding committee Euthymachos son of Ergochares of Kerameis was putting to the vote and his fellow presiding committee members. The Council and the People decided. (10) -es son of Nikandros of Paiania proposed: since -on of Phyle draws to the Council's attention the benefactions made in the past to the People by - of Keos and has read to the Council the awards [that were decreed] for him (15) . . . on behalf of Epameinon [the People?] of Karthaia . . . of Charixenos that he be awarded . . . and of Epameinon himself[1] . . . for those citizens arriving in [Karthaia?]; in order therefore that the People may be seen (20) . . . of benefactors . . . . . . , the Council shall decide, that the presiding committee allotted to preside at the forthcoming Assembly shall put these matters on the agenda and submit the opinion . . .
