-osthenes . . . of Kikynna [dedicated this] to Asklepios uninscribed space in the priesthood of Nikostratos of Aphidna.^[1]

[1] This round statue base was dedicated in the Asklepieion on the south slope of the Acropolis (on which, see IG II³ 4, 665). IG II² and IG II³ 4 date the inscription to the first century BC, apparently on the basis of letter forms; D. Peppas-Delmouzou, Arch. Delt. 29, B 1 (1973-1974) [1979] 19 n. 8 and Aleshire Asklepios 163-164 place it in the late fourth century BC.
