[1] This fragment preserves six letters from the upper left corner of an inscription. It was last seen some time before 1888 by the epigrapher Ulrich Koehler, who daringly restored it as a dedication to Asklepios, presumably on the basis of its findspot on the south slope of the Acropolis, where there was a sanctuary of Asklepios (on which, see IG II³ 4, 665 with notes).
