[1] This is a small round column, which was dedicated in the Asklepieion on the south slope of the Acropolis. There is a rectangular cutting on top for inserting a votive. The dedicator is not otherwise known. Diokles of Myrrhinous was priest of Asklepios in 340/39 BC (Aleshire, Asklepieion 3, ll. 3, 9).
