[1] This is a narrow fragment from the left side of a rectangular pillar dedicated to Asklepios, which would have originally supported a votive monument and stood in the Asklepieion on the south slope of the Acropolis. The dedicator cannot be identified. The priest might be the Aristarchos of IG II³ 4, 708, but there are many other possible names that would fit the space. The inscription is stoichedon and there is a cutting for the votive on top. On the Asklepieion and its inscriptions, see IG II³ 4, 665.
