[1] Theomnestos was honoured by the Athenians stationed at Sounion in the same year for his care of the sanctuary of Asklepios (IG II² 1302; cf. IG II² 1260 with notes). The inscriber used an unusual “pointillist” style which is found only in late third-century Sounion (Tracy, ALC 228-9). Ll. 3-4 were apparently added to the text a little later than ll. 1-2.
