[1] This is a relief made of pentelic marble, which depicts Theseus, naked except for a pileus hat and cloak, at left and a clothed man and a boy addressing him at right. The man is perhaps the dedicator. The first line is written to the right of Theseus’ head; the rest of the inscription is written above the head of the man standing on the right (on the relief, see LIMC VII, Theseus, n.322).
