Honours for the prytany of Aiantis

In the archonship of Ergochares (225/4), [in the – prytany, of AiantisXI], for which Zoilos son of Diphilos of AlopekeXII was secretary. On the eighth of –, the [twenty- or thirty-?]second [of the prytany. Assembly] in the theatre. Of the presiding committee – son of – (5) of Phaleron was putting to the vote, and his fellow presiding committee members. The People decided. – son of Menekles of Aphidna proposed: about what the prytany of Aiantis report concerning the sacrifices which they made before the Assemblies to Apollo Prostaterios and Artemis Boulaia and the other gods to whom it is traditional, and managed the convening of the (10) Council and the People and everything else which the laws and decrees of the People require of them; to praise the prytany of AiantisXI and to crown it with a gold crown according to the law for its piety towards the gods and love of honour towards the Athenian Council and People; and the prytany secretary shall inscribe this (15) decree on a stone stele and stand it in the prytanikon; and the administrator (ton epi tei dioikēsei) shall allocate for [inscribing?] the stele the expenditure accrued.
