. . . submit the opinion of the Council to the People, that it seems good to the Council to praise the Erythraian [People] and to crown them with a gold crown according to the law for the good will that they have for the Athenian (5) People, and to announce the crown at the Dionysia at the new competition for tragedies; and the administrator (ton epi tēi dioikēsei) shall manage the making and announcement of the crown; and they shall have front row seats (proedrian) at all competitions that the city puts on; (10) and to praise the ambassadors who have come from the [Erythraian] People and to crown both of them with a - crown . . . . . .
