Decree of Rhamnous honouring Kallippos of Melite

The Rhamnousians decided; Hieropoios proposed:[1] to praise
Kallippos son of Theodotos of Melite and crown him
with a gold crown for his manly virtue (andragathias) and justice
towards the deme of the Rhamnousians, because he
(5) managed the defences (phulakēs) well and justly; and he shall have
priority seating (proedrian) at the Dionysia; and the herald shall announce
the decree at the competition of the [Neme]sia or [Diony]sia; and the religious officials (hieropoious) shall inscribe it and stand it in the sanctuary of Nemesis.[2]
