[1] This fragment (of a base?) is apparently from a fourth-century choregic dedication commemorating a victory in the dithyrambic competition at the City Dionysia (cf. IG II³ 4, 460 with notes). There is anathyrosis for attaching another block to the right which presumably included the right half of the inscription.
