Honours for Athenians
IG II3 1 849 Date: 301-295 BC
          . . .   for his or their good will and
        love of honour (philotimias) for the Council and the
        Athenian People, and to praise also
        - of - and Ameinias of Xypete  (5) and - of [Phlya?] and the ships' officers (hupēresias)  and the soldiers with them
        who -ed the ship's breastwork (tēn entornean)[1]  and crown them with a foliage crown;
        and the prytany secretary
        (10) shall inscribe this decree on a stone
        stele and stand it in the court (aulei) of -
        - ; and for inscribing the
        stele the inspector (exetastēn) and the
        trittys commanders (trittuarchous) shall give 20 drachmas.
