[1] This columnar grave marker (kioniskos) is located on Philopappos Hill, in the courtyard of the church of Agios Demetrios Loumbardiaris. On kioniskoi, see AIUK 3 (Fitzwilliam), no. 7 with notes. It is the only attestation of the female name Ple(i)as at Athens (from the Latin Plias, see e.g. CIL IX 587).
