Honours for the prytany of Ptolemais

. . . for good fortune, the People shall decide, to accept the good things that took place at the sacrifices, which they made for the health and preservation of the Council and the People and the allies; and since the prytany made all the proper sacrifices in the prytany well and with love of honour (philotimōs), and also took care (5) of the convening of the Council and the People and everything else which the laws and the decrees of the People prescribed for them; to praise the prytany of Ptolemais and crown them with a gold crown according to the law for their piety . . . . . .
