In the archonship of Alexis (173/2), in the tenth prytany, of PtolemaisV. Decrees of the People. On the eleventh of Mounichion . . . of the prytany. Principal Assembly in the theatre. Of the presiding committee (5) Philesios son of Dionyso- of - was putting to the vote, and his fellow presiding committee members. The Council and the People decided. . . . proposed: since the managers of the Mysteries[1] in the archonship of Alexis (173/2) made the sacrifices of the great Mysteries and of the Mysteries at Agrai at the appropriate (10) times, with those with whom it was traditional . . . beautifully (kalōs) and with love of honour (philotimōs), and offered sacrifice also to Demeter and Kore and the other gods for whom it was traditional, and they have performed all things enthusiastically (prothumōs) for the health and preservation of the Council and People of the Athenians, and the children and women and (15) the allies, and have reported [that the sacrifices went well] . . . . . . preservation, and they prepared also the [cart (zeugos)] . . . . . . each willing . . . . . .
